VT Vliegen Trucking was founded in 2018 by Koen Vliegen, who came to the United States from the Netherlands while finishing his degree in agribusiness. Originally arriving for a dairy farm internship, Koen brought with him a deep-rooted background in farming and a strong understanding of agriculture. Driven by the opportunity for growth and a vision for something bigger, he made the decision to build a life and business here in the U.S. Alongside his wife, Alisyn—who grew up across the Midwest and is a partner in the company, leading Recruiting, Safety & Compliance, and Human Resources—and a dedicated team of drivers, the company has grown into a dependable hauling operation serving farms across Indiana and Ohio. Together, they are raising two young sons while continuing to build a business centered around hard work, opportunity, and family values. With firsthand experience working on farms, our team understands the urgency and responsibility that comes with agriculture. We go beyond simply hauling freight—we work to help our customers stay ahead by keeping a close eye on their needs and ensuring they never run short on the products that keep their operations moving.
